Foraging Basics
Foraging requires no special tools — just walk up to any glowing plant, mushroom, berry, or bark node and interact with it. All forageable items respawn daily, and their locations are fixed. Learning all spawn locations is key to efficient foraging routes.
Foraging is one of the easiest ways to gather cooking ingredients passively while exploring or traveling between other activities.

Best Foraging Routes
Efficient foraging means planning a loop that hits as many nodes as possible before they respawn. Here are two recommended routes:
Kilima Valley Loop (~12 min)
Start near the village, head west to Fisherman's Lagoon (mushrooms + bark), circle south through the forest (elderberries, mushrooms), loop back east through the fields (wild garlic, flowers), and return to village. Yields ~40-60 forageable items per loop.
Bahari Bay Loop (~15 min)
Start at the main entrance, head toward the cliffs (Dari Cloves, Coral Flowers), loop through damp cave areas (Bahari Mushrooms), then through the coastal path (Palium Root, more flowers). Best done after completing the Bahari Bay area unlock.
Foraging Tips
- Forage while traveling. Always pick up anything you walk past — it costs no time if you're going that direction anyway.
- Focus on Brightshrooms. Used in Focus Brew, which is extremely valuable. Dedicate a portion of every foraging session to cave areas.
- Sell surplus to Maji. The apothecary pays a premium for certain foraged herbs and mushrooms.
- Check season. Some berries and flowers are seasonal — know which ones to prioritize in each season.
