How the Friendship System Works
Every villager has a friendship meter with up to 4 heart levels. You fill it by giving gifts, completing quests for them, and interacting with them regularly. Higher friendship levels unlock special dialogue, unique quests, exclusive items, and (for romance-eligible villagers) the ability to pursue a relationship.
