Palia NPC Gift Guide 2026

You can give each villager up to 2 gifts per week. The limit resets at the weekly server reset. Additional gifts after the limit are refused — you don't lose the item but you miss the XP opportunity. Use both slots on Permanent Loves whenever possible.

Weekly Wants are rotating gift preferences that change for every villager each week. Gifting a villager their current Weekly Want gives a bonus friendship XP multiplier on top of the standard Loved or Liked amount. They reset every Sunday at 8PM UTC. Because the data changes weekly, check paliapedia.com/app for the current wants.

Gift preference tiers in Palia:

• Permanent Loves — Maximum friendship XP. Always gift these when possible.
• Permanent Likes — Moderate friendship XP. A solid fallback when you can't source a loved item.
• Weekly Wants — Bonus XP on top of the gift tier, resets every Sunday 8PM UTC.
• Disliked — Negative XP. The villager reacts badly and you lose friendship. Never gift these.

There are 11 romance-eligible villagers in Palia 2026: Einar, Hassian, Hodari, Jel, Jina, Kenyatta, Nai'o, Reth, Subira, Tamala, and Tish. Use the 💕 Romanceable Only filter above to see only their cards. Romance unlocks at Friendship Heart 3 and requires completing each villager's personal questline.

With 25 villagers and only 7 days, you can't max everyone each week. Prioritise in this order:

1. Check Weekly Wants first — bonus XP is significant; a good weekly want + Loved gift is the most efficient use of a slot.
2. Romance target — gift twice a week with Permanent Loves every week.
3. Birthday villagers — 3× XP makes any loved gift extremely valuable on their birthday.
4. Batch with universals — Chapaa Meat and Any Fish are Permanent Likes for many villagers. Keep stacks for quick stops.
