💡 Pro Tips
- Always eat a Focus food before starting a skill session — the XP bonus stacks to +100% with a fully upgraded Phoenix Shrine
- Chapaa Masala is the most cost-effective everyday Focus food once you can cook it — high yield, easy ingredients
- Celebration Cake gives the highest single-meal Focus restore in the game — save it for dedicated levelling sessions
- Running out of Focus is fine — you still earn XP at the normal rate, you just lose the bonus multiplier
How Focus Works
- While Focus is above 0, all skill XP is boosted
- Bonus starts at +20% and goes up to +100%
- When Focus hits 0, XP returns to the normal (1×) rate — you never stop gaining XP
- Base bonus: +20% (without shrine upgrades)
- Upgrade the Phoenix Shrine with Renown to raise the cap
- Maximum: +100% XP (double XP on every action)
- Example: a fishing cast normally gives 10 XP → gives 20 XP at +100%
- Base capacity: 200 Focus
- Upgrade the Dragon Shrine to increase the ceiling
- Max capacity: 1,000 Focus
- Larger pool = longer sessions before you need to eat again

📅 Daily Focus Strategy
Before You Head Out
Eat a high-Focus meal to fill your bar completely. Never start a skill session with an empty Focus pool — you're leaving free XP on the table.
While Focus is Active
Prioritise the activities that drain Focus fastest and reward the most XP — fishing, mining and foraging. You want every Focus point to convert into boosted XP before it runs out.
When Focus Runs Out
Switch to tasks that don't need Focus to feel rewarding — sort your inventory, deliver NPC gifts, work on housing, or collect Community Board rewards. Come back to skills after your next meal.
