💡 Pro Tips
- Upgrade your bag before your chests — portable space pays off more than home storage for active play
- The Jadium Chest is the ultimate storage goal, but it requires Amber Echo from the Royal Highlands — start saving materials early
- Label your chests by category (build materials, ores, crops…) so you never waste time rummaging
- Keep a dedicated chest for Temple Offering materials — one accidental sale can lock you out of a one-time reward
📦 Chest Upgrade Path
Basic Chest 30 slots
The starter chest — craftable from day one with the most common material in the game. Place several immediately to offload inventory after your first foraging run.
Standard Chest 60 slots Crafting Lv 3
Double the capacity of the Basic Chest. A significant improvement — replace your basics as soon as you hit Crafting level 3.
Fine Chest 120 slots Crafting Lv 6
A substantial leap to 120 slots — enough to hold an entire category of materials comfortably. Prioritise this for your building materials and ore chests.
Exquisite Chest 500 slots Crafting Lv 9
A massive jump to 500 slots — one of these can consolidate several Fine Chests. Flow Planks are required, so start stockpiling Flow Wood long before you reach Crafting level 9.
Jadium Chest 4,000 slots — MAX 👑 Royal Highlands Required
The ultimate storage solution — a single Jadium Chest holds 4,000 items. Amber Echo is only mineable in the Royal Highlands with an Exquisite Pickaxe, so this is a late-game goal. Never sell a single Amber Echo.

🆘 Running Out of Space?
Upgrade Your Chests
Work through the chest upgrade ladder above. Going from Basic → Standard → Fine → Exquisite will multiply your usable storage many times over. The Exquisite Chest's 500-slot jump is the biggest quality-of-life upgrade in the path.
Sell & Process Regularly
Do a daily chest audit when you log in. Process any raw materials sitting idle (ore → bars, logs → planks), sell excess low-value items like Flint and Stone, and clear out crops that are past their useful window.
→ What to sell for GoldExpand Your Plot
You can own up to three plots in Palia. Each additional plot can house its own set of storage chests — effectively tripling your total available storage. Expand your plot when you've maxed out space at home.
