What is Server Hopping?
24 Players Per Server
Each Palia server instance hosts a maximum of 24 players. Resources on each server reset and deplete independently.
Switch Anytime
You can join a different server at any time from the social menu or friends list — no cooldown, no penalty.
Different Resource States
Each server has its own resource spawn state. One server's Palium nodes might all be cleared while another's are completely untouched.
Find the Right Server
By hopping between servers you can locate one with freshly spawned rare resources, active Cooking Parties, or the friends you want to play with.
How to Server Hop
Open the Social Menu
Press the social / friends button in the in-game UI to open the player and server panel.
Choose How to Switch
You have two options: browse the Server List to pick any available server, or open your Friends List and join a friend's server directly from their profile.
Join the Target Server
Select the server and confirm. You will be transferred instantly — your inventory and progress carry over.
Wait 30 Seconds
After landing, give the world about 30 seconds to finish loading NPCs, resource nodes and other players before moving to your target area.

Head to the spawn point you're after. If the nodes are already cleared, hop to the next server and repeat. It rarely takes more than three or four hops to find an untouched spawn.
Best Reasons to Server Hop

Don't Take Resources Others Are Actively Gathering
If you see another player already mining a node or gathering a plant, move on to the next spawn rather than racing them to it. There are always more nodes on the next server.
Ask Before Joining a Cooking Party
Each Cooking Party has its own rules about which ingredients to bring, how to cook, and whether the server is open to strangers. Ask in chat or in the Discord thread before jumping in uninvited.
Say Goodbye When You Leave
A quick "Thanks, gotta hop!" before switching servers is appreciated — especially if you joined someone's Cooking Party or were grouped for a resource run. It keeps the community friendly.
